Like the first stir of decadent cream into fresh coffee, or the mixture of sweet caramel into vanilla ice cream, the Moso vessel by Stone Forest is sure to entice your senses with its soft curves and smooth texture. This vessel is carved from sandstone, a sedimentary rock comprised of compressed grains of sand which can take thousands of years to form. Natural and beautiful, each vessel varies slightly making each one unique.

Hey CA friends ?—ever stood at your kitchen counter, elbows dangling while chopping veggies till your arms ached? Or hunched over kneading dough until your back felt like jelly? ? We all say “countertop height matters,” but what’s actually the right height?
Stop guessing—this golden formula, tested by CA moms, calculates your perfect counter height in 3 steps:
Formula: (Your Height ÷ 2) + 5cm (Example: A 165cm-tall gal? Countertop height = 82.5 + 5 = 87.5cm)
Why add 5cm? ’Cause we’re always reaching up for spices or bending down to stir pots—this number balances “standing straight” and “natural bending” comfort zones.
CA kitchens love open-concept + islands. Use this formula, and you’ll chop without shrugging, knead without hunching—even check oven temps mid-cake-bake more smoothly. After all, cooking in CA sunshine? Comfort is queen.

Home design - contemporary home design idea in Austin

The owners were interested in updating their kitchen with design elements that met their needs. Stir fry cooking was at the top of the list for entertainment when friends and family gathered. An extended family that included elderly parents and small children was considered when planning the seating arrangements in the space.
We started with an island design that offered integrated seating at standard table height in addition to café height stools. A nine foot high ceiling was lowered over the island and wall cabinets. This allowed for a large ventilation system and added some coziness to the space. Stainless steel appliances along with a matching appliance garage added timeless beauty and function. Honed Black granite counter tops on natural Cherry cabinets soften the overall feel of the room. The addition of Euro style stainless steel hardware helps to pull the whole space together!

Crafted with a vision to etch a prudent home, tracing a simple and economical layout, Motif Architects designed ‘Lakeway Lease House’, a humble home for enjoyment-year round.
A play of overlapping roofs stirs a unique statement in the neighborhood of Apache Shores.
The foremost feature was to build a cost-efferent lease home, where the criterion was to generate revenue. It was achieved by creating common plumbing “wet” walls, minimizing unoccupied attic storage spaces and shafts, and conveniently weaving a simplified framed layout.
The plans outline a functional scheme of arrangement. The exterior façade showcases a combination of board and batten along with ship lap fiber cement board. Composite roofing stylized in a staggered form at varying levels adds a dynamic expression to the house. Awnings are provided over every door with tongue-and-groove wood soffits.

Either is fine, as long as we’re mixing drinks at this gorgeous bar!
In love with the backless metal shelves that glimpses the tile behind and the custom made appliance panels that cover the beverage fridges. This bar is a 10/10!
