Notice how the couch changes settings and looks just by moving it into a different setting? Compare this with the other room setting and notice the difference by switching the rug, coffee table, and artwork behind it. A simple approach is by mixing your pillows or adding a throw. We substituted two of the previous Ikat Pillows for two that matched the upholstery of the sofa itself. This helps separate the colors from running together too much and breaks it up a little. The substitution of the charcoal stained coffee table for the much lighter Sanibel and Almond coffee table also lighten up the room and bring a vintage/antiqued look similar to a driftwood color. The new rug really ties the new look together with it's light gray base color and faded light blue with can be seen reflected through the room with help from the Abstract Bicycle painting by Mark Carson English.
