The name of this project says it all. It is a home with materials, elements and details that are assembled in a modernist style that all have purpose and meaning to the Owners. This is a goal for every project, but in this case, extra care by the interior designer who is one of the Owners is evident as you move through the interior and exterior spaces. Exterior wall materials include a combination of split face earth tone natural brick and an off-white stucco finish. The interior finishes are a combination of stone tiles, various soft toned wood patterned finishes, wall coverings and fabrics, etc. that all give each space its own personality. Light fixtures follow suit with an array of designs that can set different moods for each room.
It starts with the approach to a symmetrical front elevation that features an intimate entry porch with a hand-carved arched wood front door. One enters a main entry foyer that serves as a circulation spine for this 2-story home with 5 bedrooms, 5 full baths and 2 half baths. The square footage for the conditioned spaces is 7,045 sq ft and the total under roof square footage is 9,360 sq ft. The house rests on a sloping site that has an elevation drop of about 14’ with a pool and outdoor living area with views and access down the hill to a wooded area beyond.
As you move through the main foyer, you’re able to access a guest bedroom, office space, stair tower, intimate dining room, wine cellar and onto the living room with coffered ceilings featuring a parka patterned wood finish. The adjacent kitchen continues the unique detailing with a wood clad exhaust hood and a mix of white oak and painted cabinetry with a large island that seats 6. A breakfast area with banquette seating provides panoramic views to the patio and pool area. Easy access is offered to the outdoor living area that continues the interior finish theme and has a dining, cooking and sitting area with a fireplace that is the focal point.
The master suite features a well-placed bedroom with great views of the backyard. It leads to a master bath and large closet area that is well appointed with finishes and fixtures that set it apart from other bathroom spaces.
The second floor is divided into two areas, one over the main house with an added play area space. The other is above a 3-Car Garage which is designed to be a mancave/game room that has a large bar and features the one and only DJ booth where musical entertainment is taken to another level. Both provide plenty of views to the front and backyard areas of the site.

In this project, our St. Pete studio used our client's love for colors to create a bright, cheerful home they would cherish forever. The living room furnishings are filled with bright patterns and colors, creating a jovial ambience. In the formal dining room, we used bright blue paint, highlighting the stylish furniture and the beautiful grand mirror with an antique gold frame. The kitchen and adjacent breakfast nook are designed to feel airy and inviting. Thoughtful art, stylish decor, and statement lighting create a warm, welcoming, and sophisticated ambience throughout the house.

This bold and tranquil bathroom design brings together natural textures, dramatic tilework, and serene spa elements. The star of the space is the walk-in shower with a stunning bookmatched porcelain slab that mimics natural stone, creating a powerful symmetrical visual impact. A freestanding soaking tub rests in front of the window, surrounded by lush greenery and daylight. Floating vanities with wood-textured finishes and black hardware balance warmth and minimalism. Patterned tile backsplash behind the mirrors adds a global-inspired flair, while matte black fixtures and pendant lights tie the design together with contemporary edge. The result is a luxurious, nature-connected retreat designed for relaxation and beauty.

Metropolis Series - Framed Shower Enclosure
Metropolis Series, influenced by Tudor window architecture, is fabricated with symmetrical, geometric, grid pattern. This European style from the late 18th Century offers Renaissance embellishments such as luxurious black metal finishes and hard-edge detailing. GlassCrafters’ Metropolis Series is intended to complement a broad range of interior décors including Traditional, Transitional and Art Deco. The Series combines historic styling with fine craftsmanship.

The homeowners of a 1930s Tudor in East Atlanta Village envisioned a colorful renovation that blended original charm with modern updates. The creative couple, who cherish antiques and quirky collectibles, aimed to preserve the home's historic layout and architectural elements. The overall color palette and aesthetic was inspired by their grandmother's fine China collection.
The renovation encompassed the kitchen, mudroom, breakfast nook, living room, bar, powder room, and primary bathroom. Copper Sky Design + Remodel placed emphasis on integrating color, patterns, and specialty details to honor the home's history while reflecting the homeowners' unique style.
Key design choices included retaining the functional galley kitchen, featuring a dishrack over the sink to display the clients' depression-era glass and antique China. Floral cutouts on cabinet doors and refrigerator panels, reminiscent of the 1930s, were incorporated. A scalloped built-in cabinet in the butler’s pantry, designed to fit a niche previously housing an original piece, ties into the brass scalloped hood in the kitchen. The mudroom and butler’s pantry cabinets also feature a scallop motif.
Custom mosaic floor tiles, typical of the 1930s, required meticulous planning and execution. The 2” hexagon mosaic tile pattern in the kitchen, mudroom, and butler’s pantry was digitally designed and hand-laid on site. The primary bathroom's wall tile pattern demanded precision, resulting in a symmetrical and stunning design.
The primary bathroom was expanded to include a Japanese-style soaking tub and a bidet within its modest 10’ x 9’ size. The powder room, though small, is vibrant with “Dinosauria” wallpaper, Tiffany-style lighting, and a square mosaic tile floor.
This thoughtful renovation preserved the Tudor's historical integrity while infusing it with the homeowners' vibrant aesthetic, creating a harmonious blend of past and present.

Inspiration for a farmhouse u-shaped medium tone wood floor and brown floor eat-in kitchen remodel in Atlanta with shaker cabinets, white cabinets, beige backsplash, stainless steel appliances, an island and white countertops

This intricate tile design features a repeating geometric pattern in white, black, and green tones, framed by soft beige lines for added depth. The symmetrical arrangement creates a mosaic-like effect that adds visual texture and sophistication to any space. Ideal for use as a statement wall or backsplash, this tile balances classic color combinations with a contemporary geometric motif, making it a versatile choice for high-end bathroom or kitchen designs.

A striking island occupies the center of a spacious kitchen in Bloomfield Hills. The HPL backed real wood veneer in Ebony Sabbiata from Tree Frog bridges the tonal distance between the walnut floors and all white cabinets and walls, creating harmony and visual balance. Full height backsplashes in shiny white are laid out in a windmill pattern, punctuated every so often with intricately designed accent squares. A combination of bold veining and delicate blooming on the Calacatta quartzite countertops contributes its subtle energy to the mix. The kitchen is separated into several independent vignettes, each one laid out symmetrically. The vast island with built in sink offers all the prep space a chef could need. The built in cooktop is centered directly behind to facilitate easy cooking, while an additional sink in the clean up area expedites after dinner chores. A walk-pantry and small home office are tucked in behind the refrigerator freezer wall. Multiple lighting details, including lighted cabinet interiors and a lighted display niche above the refrigerator, complete this stunning 2015 lake home.
