WHY CHOOSE US?
We have been in business since November 1998 and started in the window covering business by cleaning & repairing blinds. This gave us a unique perspective from most window covering dealers. We have always considered how well products hold up and which manufacturers stand behind their products the best. We let our clients know the benefits of more expensive products and give honest feedback. We take pride in showing alternative products to fit all budgets. We also give our customers an additional 2 year warranty on top of the manufacturers guarantee!
Our great testimonials on Angie’s List, Houzz.com and referrals have helped our company grow without the need for “conventional” advertising. Abda means ‘servant’. At Abda, we approach every customer with a servant’s attitude. This philosophy has helped our customers feel confident in their purchases and well-taken care of. Our number one focus is customer service and we believe in putting the customer’s needs first. We offer our clients an additional 2 year warranty on top of the manufacturer’s warranty and want each and every client to be completely happy with their purchase. We’ve been awarded the prestigious 2013 Angie’s List Super Service Award, an honor bestowed annually on approximately 5 percent of all the businesses rated on the nation’s leading provider of consumer reviews. We’ve grown over the years and have added more team members to our company and we’re very excited at the direction our company is going.

PROJECT: Chatham University Eden Hall Campus
CLIENT: Chatham University
ENGINEERS: Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc.; Biohabitats; Interface Engineering
ARCHITECTURE FIRM: Mithūn
CONTRACTORS: SOTA Construction Services, Inc.
PHOTOGRAPHER: Annie O’Neill Photography
DESCRIPTION: The Eden Hall Campus’ stormwater and wastewater management systems employ a number of proven strategies and technologies in combination and with a unique decentralized approach. A “treat it where it falls” approach utilizes a series of rain gardens around the site to manage small drainage areas while roof runoff is directed to a 50,000 gallon retention tank and is repurposed for site irrigation needs. The wastewater treatment system includes individual building primary treatment tanks and two sub-surface constructed wetland cells. Site design and landscape not only performs a functional purpose for stormwater and wastewater but also provides an aesthetic bridge between the architecture and the site.
JURY COMMENTS: This building reminds us of the importance of water, and also basic and natural technologies that are highly effective. The complete built project functions as an efficient machine while never giving the appearance of being a machine. As a first phase of a proposed new campus, the standards are already set impressively high.
Boca Tech and AutomationState-of-the-art home theater environment featuring a sound isolated room, a 227” 2.40:1 aspect ratio screen illuminated by a dual laser projection system, and an 11.2.4 immersive audio system delivering an outstanding movie AND music experience. The control system simplifies extremely unique customer requirements such as a dual screen mode to enable watching two A/V sources simultaneously – one heard through the audio system, and the second through headphones. Granular lighting control provides zones to support movie playback, game-room style usage, and an intimate reading and music environment.
The room was built from the ground up as “floating” room featuring a custom engineered isolation system, floating concrete floor, and unique speaker placement system. Designed by industry renowned acoustician Russ Berger, the room’s noise floor measured quieter than a typical recording studio and produces a pinpoint accurate reference audio experience. Powered by a 20kW RoseWater HUB20, electrical noise and potential power interruptions are completely eliminated. The audio system is driven by 11.1kW of amplification powering a reference speaker system. Every detail from structural to mechanical, A/V, lighting, and control was carefully planned and executed by a team of experts whose passion, dedication, and commitment to quality are evident to anyone who experiences it.

Renovations by Hearth + HomeClient wanted to eliminate honey oak finish from stair system, including the decorative paneling - without the cost of replacing everything. As a result, we used a solid spray stain, which minimized prep work and provided a rich, saturated colour that concealed imperfections beautifully. New carpet on open risers completed the transformation.
Haus ThorsonWe engineered a positive air pressure system that vents underneath these floating metal cabinets. This Lake Drive garage renovation was designed to showcase the clients' stunning cars. Griffin Engineering LLCInstallation of a gas fireplace in a family room: This design is painted tumbled brick with solid red oak mantle. The owner wanted shiplap to extend upward from the mantle and tie into the ceiling. The stack was designed to carry up through the roof to provide proper ventilation in a coastal environment. The Household WIFI/Sonos/Surround sound system is integrated behind the TV.
Oelo Lighting SolutionsWith a subtle tan channel, the glimmering light system on this house comes as a pleasant surprise once the sun sets. Approximately 140 linear feet of multicolor engine lighting runs along the rooflines, adding simple elegance at certain times and a festive holiday gleam at others.
