This thoughtfully designed space is the perfect blend of function and aesthetics, seamlessly serving as both a hardworking laundry room and a practical mudroom. Designed with busy family life in mind, every inch is optimized with smart storage solutions—custom cabinetry, built-in cubbies, and concealed compartments ensure everything has its place, from seasonal gear to laundry essentials. Architectural details elevate the design, with timeless millwork, paneling, and refined finishes bringing character and charm to the space. Durable yet beautiful materials were carefully selected to withstand daily wear while maintaining a polished look. Whether tackling laundry day or transitioning from the outdoors, this multi-purpose space proves that practicality and sophistication can go hand in hand.

This picture perfect destination retreat is uniquely situated above the town of Mosier and almost literally on the top edge of a dramatic basalt cliff. The clients’ commitment to minimal waste provided an opportunity for us to get creative, repurposing materials and implementing a number of eco-friendly touches. The design required several tricky elements, which our team was delighted to engage with, including the installation of stainless steel toe kicks under the cabinets and around the island to tie together the industrial accents throughout. Four pendant lights hang level with one another, mounted into an insulated, wood-paneled vaulted ceiling. We also installed accent lighting above the existing steel beams to cast a soft glow onto the wood ceiling. We coordinated with a cabinet maker to reface the existing cabinets with new cabinet doors, side panels and edge banding, and new full extension and soft close hardware. Tucked away, off the kitchen, is little nook, perfect for combing through recipes or tackling a little work while gazing out at the gardens. These cabinets were custom built to match the kitchen. We replaced the existing baseboards here and house-wide with a custom-milled slim profile base that complements the vertical grain fir finishes throughout the home.

The clients wanted an ultra-modern home that is comfortable and easy to care for in all seasons, accommodating a large family that is constantly in transition.

Sometimes we start with a few foundational items and a blank slate. We’ve worked with these Clients on their previous home, and they were ready to make their bedroom suite all their own. Keeping the built-ins was a requirement as was wallpaper, some new window treatments, a closet overhaul, and all the decor and details. We kept the bed and drapes and swapped the rest to create a luxe sleeping retreat. Phase 2 of this project was to tackle the dining room and adjacent powder room. The dining room had a small sun room attached to it that was not being utilized. We turned it into a luxe home bar with custom cabinetry and a stunning quartz countertop / backsplash. Gold wallpaper on the ceiling completed the room and highlighted all of the fun metal details throughout the space. We ran the color from the bar through the dining room and accented it with bold wallpaper. We added some contrasting colors with the rug selection and brought in wood tones with the furniture to ground the space. Custom Front Entry Door Design Options A common request from our clients, is to match the door finish to the other wood details on their home. In this project, we were able to get an incredibly close match to their existing garage doors. This design element creates a harmonious and cohesive view to all passerby’s. Our factories are able to color match and provide a perfect shade that will suit every home. Customization options are endless. We encourage our clients to provide inspiration images of what they are looking for (from our website, an internet search or even passing by a house on your walk!). Images help provide our designers with a direction and a starting point to get a quote put together as fast as possible.

A young family moving from NYC tackled a lightning fast makeover of their new colonial revival home before the arrival of their second child. The kitchen area was quite spacious but needed a facelift and new layout. Painted cabinetry matched to Benjamin Moore’s Light Pewter is balanced by grey glazed rift oak cabinetry on the island. Shiplap paneling on the island and cabinet lend a slightly contemporary edge. White bronze hardware by Schaub & Co. in a contemporary bar shape offer clean lines with some texture in a warm metallic tone. White Marble countertops in “Alpine Mist” create a harmonious color palette while the pale blue/grey Waterworks backsplash adds a touch of color. Bathroom - coastal bathroom idea in Jacksonville

After reviving their kitchen, this couple was ready to tackle the master bathroom by getting rid of some Venetian plaster and a built in tub, removing fur downs and a bulky shower surround, and just making the entire space feel lighter, brighter, and bringing into a more mid-century style space. The cabinet is a freestanding furniture piece that we allowed the homeowner to purchase themselves to save a little bit on cost, and it came with prefabricated with a counter and undermount sinks. We installed 2 floating shelves in walnut above the commode to match the vanity piece. The faucets are Hansgrohe Talis S widespread in chrome, and the tub filler is from the same collection. The shower control, also from Hansgrohe, is the Ecostat S Pressure Balance with a Croma SAM Set Plus shower head set. The gorgeous freestanding soaking tub if from Jason - the Forma collection. The commode is a Toto Drake II two-piece, elongated. Tile was really fun to play with in this space so there is a pretty good mix. The floor tile is from Daltile in their Fabric Art Modern Textile in white. We kept is fairly simple on the vanity back wall, shower walls and tub surround walls with an Interceramic IC Brites White in their wall tile collection. A 1" hex on the shower floor is from Daltile - the Keystones collection. The accent tiles were very fun to choose and we settled on Daltile Natural Hues - Paprika in the shower, and Jade by the tub. The wall color was updated to a neutral Gray Screen from Sherwin Williams, with Extra White as the ceiling color.
