A striking and highly appointed custom kitchen in Weston Florida designed for highly technical couple who wanted a bold contemporary design with all the bells and whistles. Clean and simple lines blend beautifully with touches of luxury to create this extraordinary space.

Although this Patio is technically not covered – the homeowners do have an awesome retractable awning – it is most definitely an outdoor living space. The patio itself has beautiful lines and impeccable landscaping, and the awning makes it usable a majority of the time. The homeowners definitely have a green thumb so much of the interest comes from their wonderful variety of plants and flowers displayed in unique and colorful planters.
The oversized wicker furniture with the vibrant cushion fabrics makes the seating area cozy and inviting. The fun rug ties all of the colors together.
This Patio is definitely a haven for these homeowners and truly an extension of their home. Enjoy!

Shaw Vinyl Flooring
The unit had stained concrete floors that were in really bad condition. I recommended an extremely durable, luxury vinyl floor by Shaw Floors. Shaw Floors are exceptionally long-lasting and easy to clean. They have a waterproof vinyl finish that is a great choice for high-traffic areas prone to splashes and spills.
We choose the “Tivoli Plus” design, but there’s a wide range of hues and characteristics to choose from. We have found that Shaw Floors has a surface and accent design that is perfect for every home. Technically, these floors have an Armourbead® wear layer for enhanced performance and Soft Silence® acoustical pad for noise reduction and added comfort. Basically, they provide a tremendous quality for your budget.

We honored the building’s history where possible, keeping original bones and character wherever possible, then layered in the clients’ distinct creative identity. On the main floor, we designed spaces that shift seamlessly from workday to reception-ready. Lighting was planned with intention, to preserve the original plaster ceilings and spotlight rotating installations without sacrificing ambient warmth. Custom built-ins maximize functionality while maintaining a distinctly un-officey feel. Upstairs, the artist apartment is a thoughtful retreat: adaptable, light-filled, and comfortable, with just enough quirk to spark inspiration. Even the basement—home to a full photography studio and workroom—balances technical needs with aesthetic ease. Throughout, we used color, texture, and collected pieces to ensure each room feels curated, not staged. Personal, not polished.

Symmetry and structure anchor this view of the pergola’s stone-clad pillars and the vibrant green privacy screen beyond. Our landscape architecture team utilized a row of specimen trees, each precisely up-lit, to provide a living backdrop for the outdoor living area. The contrast between the warm timber beams and the soft, organic greenery is a hallmark of our design+build philosophy. This framed perspective demonstrates how we use technical construction and horticulture to create an intimate, high-end environment.

Penza Bailey Architects designed this extensive renovation and addition of a two-story penthouse in an iconic Beaux Arts condominium in Baltimore for clients they have been working with for over 3 decades.
The project was highly complex as it not only involved complete demolition of the interior spaces, but considerable demolition and new construction on the exterior of the building.
A two-story addition was designed to contrast the existing symmetrical brick building, yet used materials sympathetic to the original structure. The design takes full advantage of views of downtown Baltimore from grand living spaces and four new private terraces carved into the additions. The firm worked closely with the condominium management, contractors and sub-contractors due to the highly technical and complex requirements of adding onto the 12th and 13th stories of an existing building.

Using the existing staircase as a unifying element, this three-story penthouse was transformed from a glum 1980’s renovation into a bright and welcoming home. Due to technical reasons, the existing stair to the roof could not be removed. Instead it was re-imagined by replacing much of the stairwell enclosure with vertical aluminum elements tied together with custom millwork. Glass risers and polished chrome hardware give the stair just the right amount of sparkle. The dilapidated and dark roof penthouse was removed and reinvented as an open, zinc-clad family room with expansive views of Boston’s Back Bay and South End. With the introduction of splashes of color and modern furnishings, this Victorian home has entered the 21st century.

Floor tiles of the highest quality. Padexpo commitment to aesthetics in all its products, developing new effects based on wood, cement, stones and avant-garde, ideal for any room interior or exterior spaces.
