Inspiration for a mediterranean bathroom remodel in Wichita

An historic Victorian home in Seattle, Washington receives an update befitting her history and beauty. The design process began by paying close attention to the home's architecture, existing color palette, and hardware details and the homeowner’s design aesthetic. It was important to ensure the renovated rooms would feel period appropriate and flow beautifully from the adjacent spaces. The bathrooms were dressed in Calacatta gold marble, antique brass metal details, ogee edge countertops and painted cabinets with a heritage finish. Elegant stone flooring and trim details, vintage inspired hardware and shower amenities niches were included to elevate the spaces. The laundry room transformation included penny floor tiles, an unexpected sidesplash detail, and a show stopping wallcovering to add a big wow factor. Our signature hidden drying racks and a concealed laundry chute cabinet add convenience and help to keep the laundry room tidy and organized. It's always hard to find a convenient space to pay bills and work on your laptop in the kitchen which is the hub of any activity in a home. We carved out this little niche for our clients which is at the end of a kitchen cabinet run. It's not only useful but it is beautiful as well with its hardwood desktop and natural light on both sides. Makes paying the bills a bit less tedious. Doing laundry can be tedious, mundane and a little stressful but in this space, doing laundry can be more satisfying with the pets around. Wellborn’s cabinetry was used throughout this design, with the Saybrook door style in Maple and complete in the newly launched Gray Mist with a Granite glaze.

LiLu transformed this Mississippi River primary bath by removing faux finishes, faux columns, and 1980s complexity to refocus the room on sky, water, and wellness. Periwinkle walls, a sculptural freestanding tub, full-height windows, a custom reeded blue vanity with brass hardware and dressing area, a white-gray-gold tile inset, capsule sconces, and herringbone marble create a refined, intentional retreat.
