March 2020 marked the launch of LIVDEN, a curated line of innovative decorative tiles made from 60-100% recycled materials. In the months leading up to our launch, we were approached by Palm Springs design firm, Juniper House, for a collaboration on one of the featured homes of 2020 Modernism Week, the Mesa Modern. The LUNA series in the Medallion color on 12x12 Crystallized Terrazzo tile was featured as the main kitchen's backsplash. The LUNA was paired with matte black cabinetry, brass hardware, and custom mid-century lighting installations. The main kitchen was packed with color, texture and modern design elements.

This transitional bathroom remodel transforms a dated builder-grade space into a calm, spa-like retreat. Terrazzo-inspired flooring, soft neutral tones, and clean-lined tilework create a serene atmosphere that feels both modern and timeless.

This Northwest Portland home underwent a full remodel, including the kitchen. Our clients wanted to keep the layout of their home while updating the 80s-build to reflect their style. This space is made to host and designed to wow. The wow factors: Custom walnut cabinetry, black leathered granite countertops, a custom island design, black terrazzo flooring, and all-new banquette seating. The Wet Bar in the family room utilizes the same materials to pull the design into the entertaining space.

Lisa Rossman, co-owner of Huntington Beach design firm LL Design Co, reached out to us right after our launch in March 2020. She needed tile options for her client—a local homeowner embarking on an ambitious, complete master suite remodel. We were delighted to connect with Rossman and rushed to send over a few of our favorite samples, so her client had some chic and sustainable tiles to choose from. Her client went back and forth on which tile sample to select, but eventually landed on the stylish STELLA 5-Flower tile in the colorway Fog on our recycled 12x12 Polar Ice Terrazzo. One of the added benefits of this tile—and all LIVDEN tiles for that matter—is its tile body type. LL Design Co’s client selected the STELLA tile on our 12x12 Polar Ice Terrazzo, which is made from recycled materials and produced by manufacturers committed to preserving our planet’s resources.
