Inspiration for a mid-sized contemporary u-shaped medium tone wood floor and beige floor eat-in kitchen remodel in Other with an undermount sink, flat-panel cabinets, medium tone wood cabinets, quartz countertops, gray backsplash, subway tile backsplash, stainless steel appliances, an island and white countertops

Shingle-style guest cottage addition with garage below and interior connector from the main dining room of an early 1900 existing house.
Sited so that garage entrance and drive works within the existing landscape elevation and orientation, the guest cottage connects directly to the first floor of the main house. This results in an interesting structural dynamic where the walls of the second floor addition are square to the main house, and the lower garage walls corkscrew at a forty-five degree angle to the walls above.
Inspired by their fond memories of travels to the island of Malta, the client requested warm neutral finishes and chose honed cream marble flooring with tight fitting grout lines and an intricate pattern of a Walker Zanger marble tile for the fireplace surround. "Dove White" walls with "Antique White" trim were selected in traditional simplicity to replicate the standard of the existing house and create a seamless transition to the addition. Locally handcrafted copper sconces gently illuminate the space and maintain the period-style of the home.

A husband-wife advertising couple purchased her grandparents' ranch style home and wanted an updated bathroom. He's a Graphic Artist/Animator and she's in Account Planning, so good design is a must. Both have an appreciation for retro styles, but it was important that it feel current. (Note the illustration of Godzilla that hangs on the wall.) What a transformation!

The curved banquette takes cues from the central circular fireplace in its form.
A couple marvels coexist here, all thanks to our highly skilled team- the mahogany edge detail along the top of the curve was expertly executed, and that seamless tapered *and* curved upholstered back is truly outstanding.

This flagstone paver pathway winds organically through the granite boulders, concrete bench, and perennial plants such as Seslaria autumnalis (Autumn Moor Grass), Penstemon gentianoides (Gentian Beardtongue), + Rhododendron occidentale (Western Azalea)

Juuuust right! The area of the yard this musician chose for his drum Studio Shed is a tight fit but ideal for his families needs. Just steps away from the house and nestled closely to the alley-facing garage.

Old Country Fieldstone brings country charm to the 21st century with a wide variety of looks. Use a wide, overgrouted joint to deliver a random Tuscan look or a sturdy rural appeal. A tight-fitted horizontal emphasis provides a more formal look.

The Quarry Mill's Helmsdale natural thin stone veneer creates stunning chimneys and wainscoting on the exterior of this beautiful residential home. Helmsdale is a low height ledgestone style real stone veneer. The pieces of stone have naturally rough textures. Helmsdale is a blend of both the split face and seam face of the natural quartzite. The seam face pieces are the stones in the shades of brown and as the name suggests are exposed to the seams in the quarry allowing rainwater to seep through carrying minerals and coloring the stone. The pieces in the shades of grey are the split face showing the interior and raw quartzite. The stone can be installed with a mortar joint but also looks great with a dry stack (tight fit) installation. Helmsdale is a premium quality natural thin stone veneer imported from overseas. It is in stock and ready to ship.

Intimate Spaces turns unusable area into functional and beautiful spaces.

This front entrance walkway is part of a project including lush plantings of purple, yellows, and greens rest against a backdrop of timeless bluestone. With quite a long distance from the driveway's edge to the front door, along with a substantial grade change as well, the Landworx team designed and installed one of their trademark entrances. Meandering just enough to add interest but still maintaining perfect function, a series of bluestone steppers and landings lead visitors to the front door. Carefully placed pops of color in the form of pottery, lavender, and plump blue/green evergreens make for a peaceful walk up.
A bluestone walkway leads around the side of house and opens up to a traditional bluestone patio in the backyard. Working perfectly with the home's ornate architecture, the large format bluestone in squares and rectangles was carefully selected for it's rust-colored highlights. Raised on the back side with a tight-fitted natural stone retaining wall, the patio provides an outdoor dining room of the backdoor sliders.
