We made it work by taking careful dimensions of the space as well as every piece of furniture before purchasing. Even the height of the printer mattered as it had to fit between the filing cabinet and the desk. The busy student who lives here had two primary needs: sleeping and studying. This light filled laundry room is as functional as it is beautiful. It features a vented clothes drying cabinet, complete with a hanging rod for air drying clothes and pullout mesh racks for drying t-shirts or delicates. The handy dog shower makes it easier to keep Fido clean and the full height wall tile makes cleaning a breeze. Open shelves above the dog shower provide a handy spot for rolled up towels, dog shampoo and dog treats. A laundry soaking sink, a custom pullout cabinet for hanging mops, brooms and other cleaning supplies, and ample cabinet storage make this a dream laundry room. Design accents include a fun octagon wall tile and a whimsical gold basket light fixture.

This 1000 sq. ft. one-bedroom apartment is located in a pre-war building on the Upper West Side. The owner's request was to design a space where every corner can be utilized. The project was an exciting challenge and required careful planning. The apartment contains multiple customized features like a wall developed as closet space and a bedroom divider and a hidden kitchen. It is a common space to the naked eye, but the more details are revealed as you move throughout the rooms. Featured brands include: Dornbracht fixtures, Flos lighting, Design-Apart millwork, and Carrera marble.
