MainStreet Design BuildWhen we started this project, opening up the kitchen to the surrounding space was not an option. Instead, the 10-foot ceilings gave us an opportunity to create a glamorous room with all of the amenities of an open floor plan.
The beautiful sunny breakfast nook and adjacent formal dining offer plenty of seats for family and guests in this modern home. Our clients, none the less, love to sit at their new island for breakfast, keeping each other company while cooking, reading a new recipe or simply taking a well-deserved coffee break. The gorgeous custom cabinetry is a combination of horizontal grain walnut base and tall cabinets with glossy white upper cabinets that create an open feeling all the way up the walls. Caesarstone countertops and backsplash join together for a nearly seamless transition. The Subzero and Thermador appliances match the quality of the home and the cooks themselves! Kitchen Solvers of ColumbusThis kitchen was great, but the layout was not working for these new homeowners. They really wanted a bigger kitchen that would give them more storage space, a pantry and a second island. We started by tearing out all the existing cabinets and countertop. For the new cabinets, they went with a mission door in maple from our Kitchen Solvers Classic Collection line. To really give this kitchen that “Wow” factor the upper cabinets were done in a snow color while the lower cabinets were done in Gale Force. To finish this new look we added a Calacatta Laza quartz countertop and a subway tile backsplash in white Urbeno. Now this homeowner has a kitchen they love to entertain in.

Kitchen Solvers of ColumbusKitchen remodeling project where the homeowners elected to upgrade their kitchen to a more transitional look by refacing their existing cabinets. They went with a two-tone color look by refacing the island cabinets in a navy bead board panel and shaker doors while the rest of the kitchen was done in a shaker pilot white. We next installed a Quartz Statuary Classique countertop and a White Subway with Pearl Grey Grout backsplash. We also created a beautiful and functional bar area with custom floating shelves and backsplash all the way to the ceiling. To finish the new look we also installed a new farm sink and 1” cove molding.
Thompson RemodelingThis existing kitchen in this custom home had cherry cabinetry and the owners wanted to brighten things up with a new two-tone design featuring classic design elements like subway tile, pendant lighting, and a gorgeous new range hood.
White perimeter cabinets feature a dark countertop, while the medium wood toned island is topped with a lighter quartz. A few glass front cabinets are strategically placed to display special items and books. A small desk area is tucked adjacent to the island.
