Transitional dark wood floor and brown floor living room photo in Dallas with orange walls

An artistic interior we had the pleasure of bringing together! This client is an art collector, so we designed the space around their amazing artwork and decor. A neutral color palette of cream, white, and gray ties each room together - while allowing the eclectic mix of artwork to take over as unique focal points.

Kids' room - large traditional girl medium tone wood floor kids' room idea in Indianapolis with blue walls

This expansive Victorian had tremendous historic charm but hadn’t seen a kitchen renovation since the 1950s. The homeowners wanted to take advantage of their views of the backyard and raised the roof and pushed the kitchen into the back of the house, where expansive windows could allow southern light into the kitchen all day. A warm historic gray/beige was chosen for the cabinetry, which was contrasted with character oak cabinetry on the appliance wall and bar in a modern chevron detail. This newly remodeled home was transformed top to bottom. It is, as all good art should be “A little something of the past and a little something of the future.” We kept the old world charm of the Tudor style, (a popular American theme harkening back to Great Britain in the 1500’s) and combined it with the modern amenities and design that many of us have come to love and appreciate. In the process, we created something truly unique and inspiring.

My client had told me that he saw the driveway as almost a continuation of the lines from the trees. Complete with moon I really liked the simplicity of this image. Alexander Design Studio
