This modern custom home is a beautiful blend of thoughtful design and comfortable living. No detail was left untouched during the design and build process. Taking inspiration from the Pacific Northwest, this home in the Washington D.C suburbs features a black exterior with warm natural woods. This was a whole home renovation where nothing was left untouched. We took out a few walls to create a gorgeous great room, custom designed millwork throughout, selected all new materials, finishes in all areas of the home. We also custom designed a few furniture pieces and procured all new furnishings, artwork, drapery and decor.

The first floor of this Bi-level home had 3 rooms; a family room, a dining room, and a 10x10 kitchen. The clients wanted a more open floor plan and an expanded kitchen area. Nothing a 23’ beam couldn’t solve and like a magic trick; no walls. The original kitchen window was left untouched and now it seems like it was meant to have the new kitchen around it. A back entry door into the kitchen was removed and the dining room’s window was turned into a sliding door to the patio. The newly expanded kitchen was designed in Fabuwood cabinetry in the Galaxy Nickle door style. The new large butcher block island top becomes center stage. The houses original hardwood floors were repaired, refinished and added to. A simple subway tile backsplash with focal above the cooktop pops with the contrasting grout. New LED recessed lighting throughout and LED under cabinet task lighting will make sure this new space is never dark and dreary. Now the clients have a fantastic new place to live and entertain.

No surface was left untouched in this Lakeview Craftsman home. We've worked with these clients over the past few years on multiple phases of their home renovation. We fully renovated the first and second floor in 2016, the basement was gutted in 2017 and the exterior of the home received a much needed facelift in 2018, complete with siding, a new front porch, rooftop deck and landscaping to pull it all together. An untouched kitchen for 18 years was transformed into a light and airy space for the client to prepare meals in. A cozy corner nook was created for client to relax and watch TV (wall mounted flat screen). Custom cabinetry including custom solution for hidden recycling bins was incorporated. 24' x 24' porcelain tiles give the space a more airy feel.

This project at 703 South Grand Avenue involves the redesign and rebuilding of the homes crumbling front porch. Other than replacing the wood shingles to match, the existing roof structure will remain un-touched. The porch roof will be supported with a new concrete foundation wall, Craftsman style columns and a low lap siding railing wall. The siding, color scheme, and trim details will be in character with the existing home. This new porch will be accessed with wood steps from both the front street side and the south driveway side. The new design is primarily focused on matching the character of the existing 2 story home, yet upgrading it visually in a way that is harmonious with this South Bozeman neighborhood’s historic character.

This elegant French Country Masterbath project was designed and created for a client from 6 years ago. 6 years ago, Karen & Dan used us solely for window treatments. This time is was to refresh and redo 4 bathrooms in their home on as reasonably priced a budget as possible. Why? They know they are likely moving in 3-5 years, but want to sell at a great price. Every bathroom was redesigned with careful focus on style and budget. The Masterbath was a completely gut, but reasonably priced cabinets, tub and tile were used throughout. All other bathrooms just had certain aspects changed with the most costly reno areas staying untouched.
