LAB
A FRAME WITH A TECHNOLOGICAL CORE.
Prominent and refined model with clean lines and large volumes expressing the lightness of the glass fronts and the strength of the aluminum frame supporting them. Design for better ergonomics, concentrating the washing and cooking areas in the central island to make kitchen chores easier. The simplicity of solids, emphasized by tall units doors and island bases with groove, does not contrast with the various translucent materials that introduce countless and rigorous reflections. A real laboratory where different materials and finishes are mixed with extreme knowledge: the right columns are model Lab matt glass Nero traffico finish, the left columns are model Bluna wood bilaminate Noce miele finish, while the island is model Bluna tech Alluminio brunito finish with the new Emme groove which gives a characteristic lightness to the 12 mm thick gres worktop Nero greco finish.

This beautiful little kitchen project sold for $26,000. They had Lowe’s do all the work which included: In-stock tile flooring, Schuler Rustic Maple Shaker Style cabinets and paneling, Sensa granite counter-top, a Kohler sink, Delta faucet, Bosch dishwasher, Travertine tile backsplash, and LED under-cabinet lighting. The house sits on a pig farm outside of Hamburg and needed a major update. The end result is beautiful, and the clients are very happy with it! Photo credit: Grace J Catanis

Morse Custom Homes & Remodeling really gave this 1941 California ranch-style home the entertainment space that 2020 calls for. We opened up the wall which once separated the family room from the kitchen, providing an all inclusive living space with kitchen, dining room and family room. We also added the new pantry and additional work station at the far end of the new kitchen.

This stunning black and white kitchen with its punch of yellow was designed for a couple who love to cook and maintain a kosher kitchen. The attention to detail is incredible and evident - the storage use, amenities, the perimeter crown molding treatment, the convection double French door ovens, induction cooktop and cordless control blinds. The cabinets installed on the perimeter are Custom Wood Products Maple Vinyl, Bright White, Dull Rubbed and for the Islands custom painted to match Golden Orchards #329 Benjamin Moore accented with Chareau Collection ! Chalet knobs and pulls. Cambria Whitecliff Quartz was installed on the countertops with two Franke Fireclay Undermount sinks. Delta Brizo Venuto in Black faucets were installed. Jenn Aire 42" French door panel refrigerator, G.E. 36" Induction Cooktop and Downdraft, American Range 30" Yellow Double Ovens, Bosch dishwashers and Wolf 30" Warming drawer.

This San Diego remodel masterfully blends the aesthetic style of this home with the necessities of a functional lifestyle. This standard builder grade kitchen was in need of a modern update which was accomplished with thoughtful accents, color selections and more.
Replacing the outdated cabinets with a classic white and black pallet made the pairing feel modern or traditional, depending on the use of accessories and surrounding materials. Stacking cabinets took advantage of gorgeous, high ceilings and brought volume to the space, while delivering multiple storage options with a custom feel. For this particular client, we added touches of grey marble and dramatic blue glass to bring a contemporary edge to this kitchen.
In addition, the wood look porcelain tile throughout the space brings kitchen, dining, and family room together to create an open concept with connection and flow and virtually zero maintenance for a busy family.

The layout of this kitchen accommodates multiple cooks, which is vital for regular large family gatherings. Ovens were placed away from the main work area, allowing for more free movement during the prep stages of cooking. While the kitchen easily suits more than one cook, it also works well for a single person on a daily basis.

Medullary rays or ray flecks are hallmarks of Quarter Sawn Oak. We like to think of them as Quarter Sawn Oak’s beauty marks!
Technically, they are cells which transport sap to carry water & nutrients for the tree’s health. Another benefit of Quarter Sawn Oak is the fact that it is such a hard wood. It can really stand up to quite a bit of wear & tear!
This cut of wood is a smart choice for a stylish renovation.

The modern kitchen is not so easy to define these days. I can think of a variety of kitchen themes which could have the word or concept "modern" attached to it: the new traditional, modern/rustic, eco-modern, vintage modern, minimalism, even mainstream modern.
Modern cannot be pigeon-holed into one particular aesthetic. Not like it used to be. Not now.
This is my very own kitchen created in our 1970's era Post and beam…

The high-rise condo owner wanted a moody modern feel throughout. This kitchen did not benefit from natural light but with natural materials and the open flow, we were able to create a clean but moody feel with the contrast of black cabinets and a light quartzite for counters and backsplash.
After opening the walls between the living, dining, and kitchen we decided to raise and level the ceilings for a continuous lofty feel.
The Kitchen redesign also included a hidden stackable custom laundry cabinet, which allowed for the addition of the Ensuite Guest Bath.

I love a client that has my taste in décor. Making this client a dream to work with. First things started with the kitchen layout which was horrendous, then gradually we worked our way though to baths rooms. After that the flooring and paint colors gave this coastal wonder the shine it deserves.
