A warm, welcoming and efficient kitchen. The natural color and grain of walnut cabinetry caught our clients eye and it was the perfect accent to this predominantly white kitchen.

The owner said "any color but white" for her farmhouse kitchen country kitchen. Earthy and elemental materials are selected for the home that reference the barn without directly mimicking it. Wooden members found inside the barn and from other barns bridge ceilings and are used in floors along with rustic slate adding to a sense of simplicity to the farmhouse design.

Designed by Marc Jean-Michel of Reico Kitchen & Bath in Bethesda, MD in collaboration with Judy Carr, this transitional style inspired two-finish kitchen design features Green Forest Cabinetry in the Park Place door style in White wall cabinets and Norfolk Blue base cabinets. Not supplied by Reico on this project but for product reference, this kitchen also features Arctic White quartz countertops by MSI, a Big Chill Beach Blue Retro Collection Original refrigerator, Affinity Tile Cuivre Collection in Happy tile backsplash and the Jenny 9" Mini pendant light by Mitzi over the kitchen sink. Inspiration for a mid-sized timeless galley medium tone wood floor and beige floor eat-in kitchen remodel in Philadelphia with a farmhouse sink, recessed-panel cabinets, gray cabinets, white backsplash, an island, solid surface countertops and ceramic backsplash

This kitchen received a major "face lift" by painting the existing dark cabinets this light gray and adding some new additions as well. The built in desk area became a beverage center with sub-zero refrigerator built in and glass upper cabinets added. The double ovens were replaced with a steam and convection oven and the slide in range and upper cabinets were replaced with a stainless hood and pull out bottom drawers. Pull out trash cabinet and pan cabinet were added as well as a custom built television frame to mount the tv above the refrigerator and also hide away items not used as often, Calcutta gold quartz replaced the old black granite and subway tile replaced the slate back splash. Glass pendants were added over the peninsula and the counter-top was all lowered to counter level. A new paneled curved bar back was added to the peninsula.

We were asked to achieve modern-day functionality and style while preserving the architectural character of this Victorian home built in 1900. This remodel went from a tiny story-and-a-half Cape Cod, to a charming full two-story home. The Master Bathroom has a custom built double vanity with plenty of built-in storage between the sinks and in the recessed medicine cabinet. The walls are done in a Sherwin Williams wallpaper from the Come Home to People's Choice Black & White collection, number 491-2670. The custom vanity is Benjamin Moore in Simply White OC-117, with a Bianco Cararra marble top. Both the shower and floor of this bathroom are tiled in Hampton Carrara marble. The stunning ocean view was the focal point and design inspiration for this modern Singer Island galley kitchen executed in hi gloss white lacquer. The 2½” thick white Cesarstone counter tops waterfall at the end towards the balcony overlooking the ocean. The appliances are in stainless with matching cabinet hardware pulls mounted horizontally. The left hand side upper cabinets and counter top cabinets have white frosted glass inserts. The distinctive ceiling detail with LED spot and indirect lighting was designed in combination with the kitchen.
