A spacious colonial in the heart of the waterfront community of Greenhaven still had its original 1950s kitchen. A renovation without an addition added space by reconfiguring, and the wall between kitchen and family room was removed to create open flow. The dewy hues in this palette create a truly sea-inspired bathroom. Striated Ann Sacks Asher Grey tile and wood floors add warmth to the cool-toned Benjamin Moore's Wickham Gray HC-171 walls. Thunder Grey fixtures anchor the room and complement the vanity painted with Benajmin Moore's City Shadow CSP-60. The beautifully textured rippled glass sinks in Dusk paired with clean-lined faucets in Vibrant Brushed Nickel and the crowning jewels in this undeniably serene bathroom.

The Giselle Room is great for families and features a queen and twin bed and connects to the shared Jack and Jill bathroom. The throw pillows were custom made the window and fence decorations above the beds were salvaged and refinished, and the decorative bench in the far corner of the room was salvaged from the end of an old bed and refinished with white chalk paint. The starting point for the decor was the client's treasured antique chaise (positioned under the large window) and the scheme grew from there. We employed a few important space saving techniques in this room... One is building seating into a corner that doubles as storage, the other is tucking a footstool, which can double as an extra seat, under the custom wood coffee table. The TV is carefully concealed in the custom millwork above the fireplace. Finally, we personalized this space by designing a family gallery wall that combines family photos and shadow boxes of treasured keepsakes.
