For the powder room we enclosed the existing tub to create a window seat and upholstered it in the same linen used for the Roman shades. In keeping with a sort of nautical or "water closet" concept I used a light blue Koi wallpaper and Maya Romanoff, Mother of Pearl tiles for the sink surround. The mirror is vintage.

Dark cabinetry offers a strong contrast against light countertops and walls. The floating powder room cabinetry is a slab door in the Brookhaven frameless cabinetry line manufactured by Wood-Mode in a dark stain. The countertop is Luce de Luna Quartzite.

The client's purchased an 80's condo unit of the 4th floor.
The main goal(s): To create a space suitable for aging-in-place and to successfully incorporate pre-existing furniture and decor from the client's previous home.
The challenges:
- To be able to fully incorporate existing furniture into a smaller space, as the client's had down-sized by moving into a condo unit.
- Creating and providing a wide range of accessibility and universal design to accommodate certain health issues of one of the clients.
Inspiration: Existing arches throughout the home.

Antique Elm Flooring brings warm golden brown tones and rich grain into this modern kitchen, grounding the space beneath a large waterfall island and open staircase. Our Antique Elm flooring is milled from barn timbers dating from 1820 to 1880, and sports unique marks such as wormholes, peg holes, and mortise pockets imparted by centuries old woodworking.
Because of widespread Dutch Elm Disease in the 1970s, new Elm wood is nearly impossible to find, making reclaimed timbers the best option if you want its invitingly warm tones in your home. At Manomin Resawn Timbers, every board goes through a detailed process of denailing, kiln drying, and precision milling, so this rare wood performs beautifully in a modern living space.
Whether you are a homebuilder, a home remodeling contractor, or a homeowner looking to bring reclaimed wood flooring into a kitchen or any room in your home, Manomin Resawn Timbers has been helping people discover the antique charm of reclaimed wood since 2002. Visit our showroom in Hugo, MN or reach out to us with a call or a message to get started.

There's no need to feel blue when your bathroom remodel looks glamorous, preppy, and cozy. The cool colors and fixtures will instantly have you feeling calm and collected.

In this master bath , we played up the existing curved wall by using small glass mosaic tile , which really plays up the curve! The dual sink vanity features marble countertops and undermount sinks, while a make up area features it own Venetian mirror. Mirrored sconces add a touch of glamour while the lucite chair brings in a touch of modernity. Photo by Med Dement

The homeowner wanted to repurpose an existing walk-in tub into the new design. She has Fibromyalgia, a chronic syndrome that causes widespread pain. The tubs circulation of water provides temporary comfort.
The new tub deck flows into the window sill, helping to create the seamless transition. The Travertine Scabos ledger tiles are naturally split faced making the room more dynamic and lively. The impact of the tiles can be felt through the distinct color combinations.

In this powder bath renovation, we removed the dated vanity, cultured marble counter, and beige tile. We kept the original brick flooring and updated everything else. We brought in a custom cherry wood vanity in a stain to coordinate with the existing trim throughout the home. The green shiplap and beautiful wallpaper really brought the room to life.
