Bathroom Remodeling Contractors Near Little Rock

We have lived in our West Pulaski county home for 20 years and the family who built it lived here for four years prior. After 24 years, our master bathroom was falling apart. The whirlpool tub was now almost impossible to start and near death and the tile around it was loose and grout was falling out. The shower was small and poorly designed. We needed a remodeler. John Hanks Construction was recommended to us by a friend who said, "He won't be the least expensive but his work is superior." We were impressed with John and his son, Brandon right from the start and we felt totally comfortable with them in our home. They worked hard at a steady pace and always kept the work area neat and always left it in a good way each night. We knew nothing about tile or granite, fixtures, etc. Fortunately, Hanks sent us to the right people who were extremely helpful. The job was completed much faster than we expected. These men are truly experts and there was no wasted motion. We now have a gorgeous new bathroom! We actually miss John and Brandon because they were such a pleasure to have around. My bathroom remodel took longer than expected, but the results were well worth it! Leigh worked with me to find quality fixtures and materials for the look I wanted and the budget I could afford. My husband, Charlie and I highly recommend Nathan Cooper and his company, River Valley Builders! We have known Nathan his entire life and know him to be honest and trustworthy. After using Nathan professionally, he did not disappoint. He listened to our ideas and was able to implement exactly what we envisioned. He would make appropriate suggestions when needed, kept us informed as the work progressed, and was on the mark with his estimates. We did a complete first floor remodel including a new kitchen, master bath and a screened-in porch addition. (The new 400 square foot screened-in porch replaced a small deck. This addition is 3 stories off the ground and required a substantial amount of foundational steel work.) If you are looking for a builder, Nathan Cooper is the BEST!

Tom Smithwick remodeled our kitchen, including new backsplash and countertops, cabinets, and light fixtures. His work was excellent. You don't have to worry about this contractor cutting corners...he is thorough and takes pride in his workmanship. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to friends or family.

Danny Cox is above reproach, his subcontractors are fantastic. Remodeled our bath with removal of jet tub replaced with beautiful shower, removed old shower and replaced with closet. Reworked mirror surround and new sliding door and new floors through out. Will be having him do kitchen shortly.

I had been in need of a deck replacement for about a year. A-State had done a much smaller job for my next door neighbor recently so I had a first hand look at the speed and quality with which that job was completed. I had been looking online at some different options/ companies but with my being able to observe how quickly and professionally his work was completed I decided to give them a call. Rob was enroute to another job but turned around and was at my house within the hour after I spoke with him. My wife and I explained what we had been thinking about and with a few suggestions and answered questions he promised to get us a quote within the week. We received the quote within a few days which we accepted and I expected it to be a few weeks out before they could start. I was heading out of state to visit family the next day when I received a call from Rob telling me they could work us in which was great since my wife was going to be home to help with any access or questions they might have. To make a long story short before I even got to my sons house in Texas my wife said they had contacted her and would be delivering material within a day or two and be able to start. She was impressed with the guys and their work ethic. Within another couple of days she was sending me pictures of the completed project. This was no small task as they had to totally remove the old wood and posts, excavate and level an area in order to place new concrete supports before beginning. Needless to say we were impressed with the friendly and efficient work from the team that came out. Everything that was promised was delivered ahead of schedule and the clean up was excellent. I would and will highly recommend this group to friends and neighbors and since I have a few other projects that I've been contemplating they will be the first to call. I've included a few pics of the old rotten deck and new clean replacement.

Jim did an excellent job on our kitchen island. He came out to the house, took the time to discuss the design we were looking for and provided drawings for us to review and approve before starting construction. He kept us informed on progress and completed work sooner than expected. We would definitely recommend Jim for any projects!

Where do I start? After three weeks of not hearing any updates on when my countertop will be installed, we decided to call them. They said their machinery is broken, which is fine, things happen - but let the customers know and update them on what's happening instead of keeping them in the dark - very unprofessional. The manager Michael was a rude, raising his voice, not listening and talking over us before we finished talking. We explained to him to give us an update, even if the update is that the project will be delayed. He boasted he has 10 other jobs - so I guess we weren't a priority, not even worth the time to make a phone call to assure us that are project will be done. We finally got the counter top installed. But the hole for the vegetable spray was drilled too close to the faucet (see pic). It keeps bumping the faucet handle making it hard to turn off the water. We called Michael, he said it was our job to monitor the counter guys on drilling holes. We should tell them where to drill - how many home owners know how far apart to drill holes? Our plumber talked to Michael offering a solution that we can just drill another hole. Michael was also rude to the plumber. Michael didn't give a date, he didn't even attempt to say, "I'll find out [insert date here] when they can drill it" so that we know when to expect an update. And for an 8 feet countertop, they made a cut in the middle of the sink. We consulted 2 professionals to check the workmanship and they said it's not recommended to have a seem in the middle of the sink. Water will weaken it, causing it to leak and break later. BUT, I'm more concerned with the faucet. Michael won't fix it. Our faucet doesn't work properly, regret going with this company.

Beware of this company. No returned phone calls, emails and texts for 2 weeks now. Project was supposed to take 4-6 weeks and now going on 3 months. I tried going to their physical address on their website and gentleman that answered the door said there hadn't been anyone there for 2 months prior to him moving in. If you click on the website name on their website, it redirects you to another website about insulation.
