A custom floating vanity made of reclaimed wood, and a concrete composite vessel sink, along with subway tile run in a vertical off-set pattern keep the small space clean and free of visual clutter.

A serene, light-filled bathroom wrapped in forest-green handmade tile sets the tone for Forest Haven. The curbless, roll-in shower and freestanding soaking tub create a space that is both fully accessible and deeply calming - designed to support aging-in-place with elegance and ease.

These renovated bathrooms blend sleek, modern design with functional elegance. The space features clean lines and a minimalist aesthetic, highlighted by neutral tones of soft greys and whites. A large frameless glass shower with a rainfall showerhead takes center stage, complemented by smooth, matte black fixtures for a striking contrast. The floating vanity, with a white marble countertop, is paired with a large mirror that spans the wall, creating an open, airy feel. Textured tiles in a geometric pattern adorn the floor, adding subtle interest, while underfloor heating provides added comfort. The overall atmosphere is calm, bright, and sophisticated, with an emphasis on both style and practicality.

This Willow Glen Eichler had undergone an 80s renovation that sadly didn't take the midcentury modern architecture into consideration. We converted both bathrooms back to a midcentury modern style with an infusion of Japandi elements. We borrowed space from the master bedroom to make the master ensuite a luxurious curbless wet room with soaking tub and Japanese tiles.

For this classic San Francisco William Wurster house, we complemented the iconic modernist architecture, urban landscape, and Bay views with contemporary silhouettes and a neutral color palette. We subtly incorporated the wife's love of all things equine and the husband's passion for sports into the interiors. The family enjoys entertaining, and the multi-level home features a gourmet kitchen, wine room, and ample areas for dining and relaxing. An elevator conveniently climbs to the top floor where a serene master suite awaits.

To give the bathroom a more open feel we removed a pony wall and bathtub, added a large shower and carved out space for "his" and "hers" vanities. Glass shower doors make the room feel larger and allow light to floods the entire space. This contemporary, costal Tiny Home features a bathroom with a shower built out over the tongue of the trailer it sits on saving space and creating space in the bathroom. This shower has it's own clear roofing giving the shower a skylight. This allows tons of light to shine in on the beautiful blue tiles that shape this corner shower. Stainless steel planters hold ferns giving the shower an outdoor feel. With sunlight, plants, and a rain shower head above the shower, it is just like an outdoor shower only with more convenience and privacy. The curved glass shower door gives the whole tiny home bathroom a bigger feel while letting light shine through to the rest of the bathroom. The blue tile shower has niches; built-in shower shelves to save space making your shower experience even better.

This petite guest bathroom leans into the small size of the room by going dark and dreamy. Imagine a forest at dusk. A window at the opposite side gives natural light and a view towards the sky as this room is on the 4th floor of this townhouse. Heath Ceramics wall tile was used.

I used a patterned tile on the floor, warm wood on the vanity, and dark molding on the walls to give this small bathroom a ton of character.

The guest bathroom balances industrial character and modern simplicity through an exposed brick accent wall, crisp white tile, and a custom steel-framed shower enclosure. The grid-pattern glass introduces a striking architectural element, while warm walnut millwork and natural stone add richness and texture to the compact space. Layered materials and clean lines create a bathroom that feels both timeless and thoughtfully curated.

This project was completed for clients who wanted a comfortable, accessible 1ST floor bathroom for their grown daughter to use during visits to their home as well as a nicely-appointed space for any guest. Their daughter has some accessibility challenges so the bathroom was also designed with that in mind.
The original space worked fairly well in some ways, but we were able to tweak a few features to make the space even easier to maneuver through. We started by making the entry to the shower flush so that there is no curb to step over. In addition, although there was an existing oversized seat in the shower, it was way too deep and not comfortable to sit on and just wasted space. We made the shower a little smaller and then provided a fold down teak seat that is slip resistant, warm and comfortable to sit on and can flip down only when needed. Thus we were able to create some additional storage by way of open shelving to the left of the shower area. The open shelving matches the wood vanity and allows a spot for the homeowners to display heirlooms as well as practical storage for things like towels and other bath necessities.
We carefully measured all the existing heights and locations of countertops, toilet seat, and grab bars to make sure that we did not undo the things that were already working well. We added some additional hidden grab bars or “grabcessories” at the toilet paper holder and shower shelf for an extra layer of assurance. Large format, slip-resistant floor tile was added eliminating as many grout lines as possible making the surface less prone to tripping. We used a wood look tile as an accent on the walls, and open storage in the vanity allowing for easy access for clean towels. Bronze fixtures and frameless glass shower doors add an elegant yet homey feel that was important for the homeowner. A pivot mirror allows adjustability for different users.
