“From Barry + Alla Litwack of Indianapolis Indiana : we have a 12 yr old house that was built as brand new on top of an existing basement. The floors in the front corners were sagging. And the cracks in the walls were reaching the corners on a diagonal. We could not figure it out, we were stymied. With a referral from Chris Beckley, a local painting / fix it contractor, he recommended Ziegler Design Group + their head man, Dwight Elder. This was the best decision at the right time. It turns out that our house has burned down to the ground 12 1/2 years ago to the dry basement. The contractor who rebuilt house, cut corners by not putting in a correct foundation. And the Home Inspector didn't catch this or some of the other crazy stuff that was not done 12 1/2 yrs ago. Unfinished block walls in the front, rain water coming in, crawl space filled w/ beer cans + bottles. Crooked floors, a roof that was not to code, no gutters in the front, lots of uneven floors + doors. The house was sinking due to the fact that this contractor really did not do a professional job. Thanx to Dwight and his team, East side- $6,500 + West side $4,500 was spent. Now, the floors are even. No more slant / sliding, and no more creaking. We still have other issues for painting, next year's cost, but Dwight really took charge, supplied photo's of ALL the previous contractors "goofs" on us, the new home owners. Dwight even helped us design new landscaping all over our property, $2,900. It was well worth the expense. We were told by other contractors we'd spend $35K, but this was better. Dwight is a great guy. He clearly knows what to do to make "things" right. A true professional We would highly recommend Dwight + Ziegler for your next job”
