“My husband and I worked with 2-Form over a period of three years to create a one-of-a-kind passive solar, LEED Gold home in south Eugene. From the beginning, Richard Shugar, the lead architect, listened to our dreams, wants, and wishes, for the home and helped to make it become a reality. His team worked hard on complicated details, and Richard was often on the site, working with the builder to work through any design complexities. This was particularly important because my husband and I were living in the Bay Area during some of the design process and much of the building process.”

“We consulted David when we decided to update the bathroom in our 1930's home. The layout was such that when sitting in the living room , if the bathroom door was left open, the view was directly of the toilet...obviously not a good idea. David had the idea of moving the toilet into an adjacent under used closet to make a private space. He suggested removing a rarely used bath tub set in an alcove and creating a shower in another alcove that had been a vanity table. We followed his ideas and could not be happier with the result. He had wonderful ideas on new fixtures that kept the same look as the old. We purchased new tile that was very similar to the decaying tile that we found under the rotting linoleum. We were able to leave all the old features we loved- many arches in a small room- and make the space much more usable. His ability to look at a challenge with fresh eyes is remarkable.”

“A wonderful design experience working with Cindy and Jim Russell! We are working on a tiny home project with them and I cannot express how much I appreciate their professionalism, vision and devotion to the principle of good design and livability in a space that is not only small, but efficient, livable and oh so stylish. We knew great design was essential to living well in a small space and we were frustrated with how much really BAD design, poor construction and ghastly material was out there. Ideabox resonated with us right away, Jim and Cindy are knowledgeable, collaborative, smart, innovative, fun and very good at what they do. We are still in the design stage, so unfortunately, I have no photos to share, but next year I will!”
