My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    We custom design the cabinetry and they were built by a local millwork company- Lange Brothers out of Milwaukee, WI

    This is perhaps the best kitchen I have yet seen....however, I would be concerned that cooking spatters would constantly be a problem on the window behind the range, glass not being too forgiving with that sort of thing. Was this not a consideration in this design?

    It was considered. It is hard to see here, but the countertop is deeper than normal at the cooktop, and the hood is an island style hood pulled away from the windows a bit. The owner has not commented on this being a problem.
