What's the paint colour you used ?

Wickedxx - The colour of the family room is BM smoke & mirrors CSP-105 and the living room is BM kendall charcoal HC-166.

The room needs a small punch of color (leaning towards red). Try a blooming plant with red flowers or a great colored vase on the table. The punch will break up the sameness throughout.

In the second Before/After shot, it feels just a bit dark; and a Restoration Hardware large leaning mirror would reflect light and look great on that empty wall (but then, you're a Pro and the gown art is terrific too and the dark appearance could just be the photo.) I'd sure hire you if you were in Texas! Gorgeous job.

200 years old? To my eye those rooms desperately need cornices to balance the deep (and period appropriate) skirting boards at floor level. I don't know how to say that in American English so I hope you know what I mean! The moulding that usually runs around the joining edge between ceiling and walls in old houses?

Beautiful rooms I dont think you need much help. Instead of just stuffing the rooms with things take your time and look for the perfect item or something that has meaning to you,after all thats what makes a house a home!

This is a stunning transformation! I love that you kept a nice grey flow throughout! May I ask what your inspiration or technique was for mixing with the grey walls? I just moved into a new home with grey neutrals (dark grey accent walls) and am trying to figure out how to add colour throughout...and how to mix them! :)

Post some pics. Our new place is known as 50 shades of gray. Lol. I love gray because you can add absolutely any colour to it and they'll pop. Some think gray is drab but, it allows for art and accents to stand out and the walls drop away. Perfect colour canvas for any room.

I love the paint color, especially when used with white crown moulding. It gives off such a dramatic look.
