No LED?

Unfortunately, these don't come with LED bulbs. LED bulbs still cost us about $8.00 each and the CFL spiral bulbs cost us about $1.00 each. Once the price comes down on the LED bulbs, we may offer it as an option. I actually prefer the LED bulbs over the CFLs but if we did include LED bulbs, the overall price of the lamp would increase to cover the cost of the LED bulb.

In regards to cleaning it, you can just dust it with a dustfeather or wipe it with a damp cloth.

Great! The question is whether we can change the bulb ourselves and put and LED bulb... that should be feasible, right? We would like the option to dim the lights. Thanks!

Yes. LED bulbs are great - just make sure they're equivalent to 100 watts. If you need it brighter, then purchase a "bulb splitter" for $2 or $3 and this will allow you to install 2 LED bulbs.
It's fairly easy to change the bulb. To change the bulb, you must remove one of the pieces of the lamp. This can be done by unfastening the 4 tabs that secure each piece to the other pieces. Once you remove this piece, you will be able to reach into the lamp to pull out the bulb assembly and change the bulb. After changing the bulb, you can replace the plastic piece by fastening the 4 tabs that hold the piece to the rest of the lamp.

Just make sure your hands are clean before handling the lamp.
