Hallo ! If I'd be around there , I'd run to you with my catalogues with stiles from ancient classic to modern and futturistic . . .but I'm too far from you ! ! ! I'm from Bucharest - Romania - central Europe and I'm designing and constructing by miself , open fireplaces since 1994 after I finnished in 91 the engeneering in polymers technology ! ! ! It was a quick changing of direction becouse many bad things occured after our "pseudorevolution" in 89 when , here in Romania was abolished the bad comunism ! ! ! For me , the passion is for classic with some sculptured elements - you can see some of my work in www.semineuri-horia.ro  - wich I realised with a very good friend of mine wich is an exceptional any kind of stone finnisher and ofcourse sculpturer ! ! ! For your room , I see here in the photo , if you want to keep the same furniture and colours , I'd make an classic made by "BASCHIOI" CALCAR ( you should read : BASHQIOY ! ! ! = it's an ancient turkish word ! ) wich is categorized as THE BEST NO ONE CHACHAROUS STONE IN EUROPE ! ! ! I visited three times the Baschioi career in the mountins of Tulcea area wich is 250 km from Bucharest and is amasing and beautiful ! ! ! You can see on my site one named "Felicia" , another one named "Felicia" too , is made by oak dryed 15 years in closed space ! ! ! If you look with attention and patience you can see also other fireplaces in that stile ! ! ! The problem is we are so far away one of each other . . . I'd like to make that job for you for very litle fee if you can asure for me and my mason friend the flight , accomodation and meal ! ! ! I'm sure that you have good and beautifull stone there ! ! ! For sculpture we need an 200 L AIR PRESURE instalation ! ! ! The rest is our job ! ! !
