Hello, I recommend that you have a couple of builders look at the property with you. They can evaluate the structure and the condition of the electrical and heating systems and the extent of the construction needed, depending on the scope of your anticipated renovation. As an architect, I meet with clients and discuss the design options for the existing structure and potential additions or renovations. I can also evaluate the needs for a renovation but I often bring in a contractor to help with the estimates.
