We are in the process of purchasing a new home and while we love the interior, I am stumped on what to do with the awful exterior. I was thinking of updating the shutters, trim, and awning (that is currently mustard/ brown) with perhaps a navy blue, as the brick is yellow/orange and the roof is brown. The windows are actually brown so it is hard to tell what to do. Should I paint them as well? I was potentially looking at framing the windows in white. Is this even possible? Would that help to break up the color? Should I paint the door a separate color? Sorry for all the questions, I am just unsure on what to do. Would any colors work?
