We've been wanting to get our backyard pool area to look better. Right now we have pavers, the pool itself, with a metal fence around it. There are fishtail palms at the behind the pool at the back of the property. We've had numerous ideas and estimates given to us with a waterfall, slide, lush landscape, outdoor grill, pergolas, extension of the patio and pool etc . We are so confused at this point.

At this time we'd like to have some simple landscape with a waterfall and we will buy our own grill within a $5,000 budget. We're also looking to buy some patio furniture as well.

1. Is that reasonable?
2. What would look good keeping in mind a tropical paradise type of a look?

Any thoughts, ideas all would be much appreciated.
