Is it all set up to be hung on the wall? Start out by hanging it where you want it to go & then decide what items to hang with or around it. Do not think about painting your wall or walls until you live with it a while.

Actually not that heavy considering the glass and mirror pieces. Yes set to be hung. Do y'all think it's a keeper? Thanks for the advice!

If you like it, for certain keep it. Especially if there's a place for it to catch enough sunlight to make it specially pretty, better.

Is it dark brown and gold basically?

Is there a solid backing to it / or will light shine nicely through it?

It's a unique art for that I would keep it. You need yor wall to be

You need an accent wall that complements the art. Perhaps a universal grey or something. It is also important that you place it where the scale is good. So find a wall that is not too big so the art becomes the focal of that wall. Depending on your furniture. You can have this either in your living room, hall way or dinning room. But remember to incorporate the mood and colour scheme of the art in the entire design with out over powering the art. I hope this helps. Art is hard to find , when you find it you should keep it.

Yes I definitely had a response to it. It's 36"x36". Indonesian art made with black and copper colored glass with mirrors and pearly capiz. It has a solid backing. In the evening it subtly shimmers like moonlight. I will send a pic of the room when I get home. Thanks for all the adivice! Love it!

Idea if you had it on dark wall. A chair that repeats the amber color [in its wood or fabric].

Or if your colors work with it, a somewhat deep purple plum eggplant? Gold.

This is a room I can place it in. I have high ceilings and that wall is empty. Or I can place in the entry way over a console or bench?

Never thought about lamps probably cause my place has track lighting. Currently my entry way has a mirror there but I will most likely move to house in a year or so. I was just looking for general uses for the mosaic. But I thank all of you for your input. I dont have a definite spot for it right now but I'm sure I'll find one in the near future. Whether I scale it to a wall or hang with a collection of art. Y'all made me realize it's a keeper!
