expand dimmer switch load

Hi,
I am installing 12 light socket in parallel, and I have a dimmer switch rated at 600W for incandescent light bulb and 150W for LED light bulb. I am thinking installing all 12 socket with 40W LED light bulb which sums up the total load to be 480W. is it possible to expand my dimmer switch load to 600W by adding 3 more switches?

I'm assuming the bulbs you want to use are an LED that are "equivalent" to a 40 watt incandescent bulb in terms of light output. That LED bulb draws 6-7 watts, so 12 of them would be well under your 150 watt limit.

I agree with Mike, but note that if you do use several dimmers right next to each other, the specs may require them to be derated for heat dissipation reasons.
