I don't mind your mirror, but your vanity light is oddly placed and is not doing a good job of illuminating your sink area. I would suggest a sleek bar light .

Your sink is ok, but the vanity isn't so cute. Still, you'd get a lot of mileage out of just updating the faucet to something sleek and new.

Agree about the mirror being ok (a framed one will make the space feel smaller) and the lighting needing replacing. New paint and handles might be enough of a facelift for the cabinet. Depends a bit on what you're going for.

IKEA sells a silver round mirror. That could work. new faucet brush nickel. Your light works.

Change out picture to some color. Look for fun. Hang low. And taller.

Hi. I love your powder room. Yes it is a small, functional room, but look at it this way - it's a place to totally indulge every creative wish you were denied elsewhere in your home because of cost or lack of popular opinion, etc . Have your fabulous Three Wishes Moment.

Yes my dear you shall have it all because you don't need too much! If it still functions as a private place to relieve yourself and wash up, you may do anything you want!

Is it two small spaces? It looks like you enter and face this vanity & mirror and then turn left to go into another small space to use the loo. Is there another door? If that is the case you could remove this wall to open up the space. If storage isn't an essential why have a cabinet? Installing a pedestal sink will double the roominess and they look so sculptural! Lighting must be right. I'd put in two switches. Possibly a third for a fan. First a beautiful chandelier which can be dimmed to a very low setting to guide your guests. Switch two is for a pair of sconce lights. Now read carefully. Your face, a mirror and bare bulbs have no business being in this proximity. Said sconces must have a soft, shade quality, via linen or white glass, positioned at exactly your face height, exactly 36" apart, on either side of an oval mirror (remember oval is the most flattering of face shapes). DO NOT be tempted, talked into or befuddled into installing a single, centred light source above the mirror unless you want to look like a saggy, Jack O Lantern. This area is called a vanity for good reason, no?

I would paint the cabinet, replace the top with granite and get new handles and light.

Definitely replace the light fixture.

I would go with a deep bold color..it's a small space so go for whatever your extreme drama translates..
I like eggplant, gold, deep reds..
But all colors work as long as they are rich not pastel
Keep the mirror have a carpenter trim it in painted wood.
Keep your light as simple as possible based on your taste category..splurge on faucet..but stay in same style

Why not paint that back wall orange to make it pop like an accent wall add accessories and maybe a colorful rug with orange and maybe change the light fixture too.
