I was looking to install a 36" slide in gas range into my island, i dont want to put in a hood fan but would rather have a downdraft. The only problem is finding a good downdraft that will mount behind a range and have enough height to handle pots(14" or so) and meet the air requirements (stove says 1200cfm is needed) and most downdrafts that have remote blowers and advertise will go behind a range are only 900cfm. Any ideas of which products i could use? Any ideas are helpful.
