What is on the wall that is parallel to the left side of the bed?

Would you notice the opening less if the bed was in another location? If the opening had a door or doors?

I just did a remodel with the shower turned into a linen closet and the old Jacuzzi tub turned into a walk-in shower. Huge mess but finally worth it.

It's the old owners furniture but my placement is similar. To the left is sliding doors that lead out to the balcony.

What is in the square area on the other side of walls between the tub and the shower? Is that a hall closet? If you can go through there I like the idea of removing the shower to put a door there.

If your issue is simply placing the bed infant of a mirror, consider putting up a rolling barn door inside your bathroom, so the bed doesn't look at the mirror. If that is not enough, consider flipping the tub to the area where the door is, and the door to the far side where the tub is. Not too much to rip up.

I too was thinking of a rolling barn door to the bathroom, but have the door/track slide behind where the tv is in the picture. If you don't like the rustic look you can do a sleek door rail system. I like the look and it won't look like a "fix". It will look like stylish design.

Others have already mentioned it, but a sliding door would likely be the easiest solution. If you are remodeling the entire bathroom, you could potentially do a pocket door. Otherwise a sliding door that mounts to the wall as Darzy showed would be a great solution.
