Anything wet and steel bottom on stool will create rust just wipe the rust off and maybe put some felt pads on the bottoms of the stools to avoid that. I use very few cleaning products so vinegar water is my go to very often .

Though sold out the video shows 'all about it' - we bought them and like them. They're practically clear and don't look bad.

I wouldn't get by with just vinegar - I sometimes mix in Simple Green or Fab. Borrowed:
