Condo Board wants a rug there. Marble becoming scratched... and space feels to big and open like something is missing...

I would cooperate the fern green & wood color with some other rich colors to brighten up the blah but just not too busy.

I think an asian style rug will not compliment this style. A bold long rug custom made to fit the exact width of your required cover up. I would suggest 6 tiles wide. The existing tile would border the rug.

My favourite of the three I attached you can only see a portion of...has a diamond pattern. I do love the orange/red one also.

Won't be possible to do custom. Must be ready made. Do u think 6' width is enough? Are u choosing that so the carpet is the same width as the rose tiled squares? Can someone give me the name of a reputable COMMERCIAL source? Thanks to all....

The first one Nadia posted 8x16 seems to work the best as you have some green in the foyer. Also, as a busy pattern it won't show tracking so much. (Nice carpets Nadia!)

Wow! All the info I'm looking for. I like the first one best as well this area sees alot of use which is why I was thinking busy and oriental. And this carpet would pull the sitting area together with the rest of the lobby. Hoping its commercial....thanks so much...

Are you familiar with Durkan (Mohawk)? These are fun to work with as you pick your pattern and then the colors. You could match the ottoman, for instance. My boss chooses this for rugs in a very high end resort.
