Bump.

I would recommend having the can size be a bit bigger since these are in the kitchen. The 4" cans are more commonly used as art lights, or accent lights for a fireplace, or rock wall etc. I would also place the can lights closer 2 1/2 to 3 feet away from the cabinets. I think that as far as placement, I would also suggest that they are in a linear line on either side to make the finished design look more aesthetically pleasing. On your current drawing it looks like they are uneven. If you are concerned that your counters will not get enough light with the cans farther away, I would suggest getting some under cabinet lighting if you do not already have some to help supplement the light from the cans & pendant lights. I tried to print off your kitchen plan to show this better on paper. I hope it helps!
