I would elevate you palm by placing it on a plant stand which would help balance out your picture. The room looks lovely.

I love the serene colors you chose. Comfortable and relaxing. The room seems to heavy on the left side. Needs balance. I would center the picture on the wall. I would put the plant in another room and add another chair in that corner with the end table beside it so the table serves a purpose. A nice decoration on the fireplace hearth would be nice.

When you move the sofa closer to the fireplace, then consider a sofa table behind the sectional - especially if it is the first thing you see from the front door.
