I like your home but have matched the landscaping from left to the right & increased the size of the lanterns at the front door.

Lexi it can be done if the mason is skilled, however, there will be a difference in the brick color because even if you match the existing brick, no one can replicate the fading and oxidation that has occurred.

There is a solution to that too.

Stain the Brick

The staining $$ is nothing compared to the cost of the stone portico. $$$

Regardless what you do, I will just comment and say that your grounds keeping is fantastic! Beautiful green lawn, perfect balance of different trees/shrubs and colors, and the right color mulch. Awesome curb appeal!!

Maybe if you don't remove that arch window above and can just somehow extend a canopy from what is existing right below that arched window (like Beverly's first picture)? Incorporate it rather than go to the expense of changing out the window? My worry would be that the brick to replace around that arch window wouldn't match and it would look like you did something there. That's my OCD talking.

LOL, I didn't notice that either until you just pointed it out!

Don't know if it's too late to jump in but I wonder if the trim color around and above the door and on the sides and below the window which creates a kind of stripe down the center of the house is what bothers you, more than the actual window shape, or that it accentuates the different window.....can it be painted to blend in more? I have no photoshopping skills to offer a visual. What do others think?
