Color is light in physical form--paint definitely has undertones and is impacted by the light coming into the room...I think you made a good choice but I wonder if it will work the same way in your other rooms...

I get large poster board/cardboard and paint in colors I am considering to move around to all walls and see in different lighting...easier than using paint strips or painting a small part of the wall...

Thanks. I did tests on posterboard, I have a whole collection now. I tried them on all walls, daylight, artificial light, cloudy day, sunny day, next to the furnture, next to the rug. The breakfast area is open to the living room and the dining room is partially open to it and has a mostly western exposure, so lots of light there too. I like that it doesn’t get “lost” after dark like some of the lighter colors I tested. They just disappeared into the white trim. I think the color is warm enough not to go all weird on me, and doesn’t seem to have any green in it, it looks like it has a tiny bit of red in it, I didn’t look closely at the formula. I’m still getting used to the change, but so far I’m very happy with it. Now I have to decide on white or a color for the ceiling after I finish repairs.

I love it, as delicious as its name suggests. I’m not a blue wall person. Too chilly.

I always loved your room before which is kind of interesting because I normally find blue rooms cold, don't like to look at them, and don't believe I could have one -- I do believe that means you have a pretty room!! So yes, I like both colors but the new color warmed it up nicely and looks great. I agree that it's warmer but not muddy or yellow. That's a hard one to come by.
