Want to use under the stairs for storage. My thought is for shoes and coats. Saw a lot on google and Pinterest, wondering what ideas some of you may have. Thanks!

1 deep shelf under stairs for sliding storing heavy items under on floor
for the easier access space at entrance a pole for short hang
or shelving.
depends on what type of things need storage.

Maybe build the tallest part out to get a square door to have hang & shoes beneath.
Easier to find a square door.
You could make your own angle door, too.
Then have recessed storage thru new built wall. Kind of like this.
