Is it a place you will check your hair or something? I'm not convinced that a hallway needs a mirror doubling an unremarkable piece of art + every person passing. Enjoy the restfulness of the plain wall...

I can't tell what the opposite wall is (?), but no, I would not hang a mirror there. Mirrors should be used sparingly and only when there is a purpose. They are not decorative in and of themselves. To put a mirror on a wall there needs to be a table or some sort of furniture under it where it would make sense that someone would be entering or leaving a space and would need to stop and check themselves. The only other time I would recommend mirrors hanging on a wall is when you need to "mimic" a window to create symmetry.

Oh how I wish I had given the advice cpaul1 has given. Mirrors are functional rather than art.

I did use a small mirror to mimic a small window and put molding around it. I saw this in a magazine and remembered it just when I needed it. Great idea but not for this.

We agree, no mirror is needed here. We think the wall is fine with nothing on it. Enjoy the blank space. Not every little bit of space has to be covered.
