Schluter makes a DesignLine strip 1/4 x 1 in stainless steel, stainless steel with structured finish, chrome plated solid brass, or anodized aluminum.

She said she used the Schiene strip. It’s 1/4” wide, but in this application that’s the side that would be sandwiched between the tiles, leaving the 1/8” piece to act as the “grout.”

Are you sure it’s not gold-colored grout?

Sammy, it’s definitely brass Schluter strips.

I just saw a similar tile at Lowes with the Schluter edge added in, backed with mesh--it's not exactly the same, but it might save a fortune if it could work? Good luck!

@Kelli DosSantos This is an old post, but for anyone doing research on this concept, let me say that I have Schluter strips in a bathroom, and they aren't impervious to abrasion and scratches which are irreparable if they happen to one of the coated profiles, perhaps not on the plain aluminum. The tile itself might wear better and longer than the metal interlaced with it, depending on the application and care routines. On a backsplash, it would probably be fine, a floor not so much. Some Schluter strips are rated for floor traffic, and others aren't, so watch out for that, too.
