I agree with tartanmeup - a soft rug will be easiest on the feet.

Velvet and jute don’t even belong in the same sentance. Jute rugs feel awful on barefeet and IMO choosing some art work first might help to then choose a rug with some color.

I think some people are drawn to the contrast of textures, Patricia. Jute rugs add great natural texture! They aren't the most comfortable to walk on, however. Consider layering a slightly smaller wool or viscose rug on top of the jute for added interest and comfort.

For nightstands, consider a pop of color or a dark finish for added contrast in your space.

Thank you guys! Maybe jute wasn’t the best idea, not sure if I should get a rug with more color? I do plan to add some decor and change the bedding to give the room a little more life. For nightstands, I could fit approx 35 wide dresser. I would like it to have 3 drawers.

I think I narrowed down some end tables I like. Any suggestions? Thank you!
