Two months ago I bought the LG WM3700HWA It’s the step below the one you are considering and so far I like it a lot. It replaced a Whirlpool Duet and it definitely seems to be getting my clothes cleaner. I find that things come out less tangled than they did with my old washer. I haven’t used the steam feature much yet so I can’t comment on that.

I thought the notifications on my phone would be silly but I honestly love it. If I’m not home but the kids are I can text them to remind them to change the laundry. I also love that I can load the washer first thing in the morning and then start it remotely when I know that our basement apartment tenant is awake and done showering.

i initially just bought the washer because my old dryer was fine but it’s now in a death spiral so we ordered the matching dryer this weekend and it will be here Friday.

When reading reviews the biggest complaint was that the display was hard to read. My laundry room has two recessed LED fixtures and I have no trouble reading it.
