80" or 82" is typical from what I recall but there are no rules.

I would match to the door height.

Whatever height you decide, your ceiling is not tiled so make sure there’s enough ventilation or powerful fan to suck the moisture. I would look more at the window height, not the door. I would not want the window obstructed by a shower frame, as minimal as it may be.

I’d listen to the professional’s (the glass guy) recommendation. And, no, you don’t try to match the height of the bathroom door.

My contractor and shower folks just installed it and had it in line with the window casing.
