The 2nd layout for the bathroom feels more functional. You can enter without having to awkwardly move to close the door. Also, in the 1st layout, can you open the shower door and the entrance door at the same time? Might be something to consider.

Nobody is staring at the elevations. Post the cad plans for the kitchen, and also within the CONTEXT of a first floor whole. A second floor WHOLE .

I would do the first one for the kitchen, and the first one for the bathroom as well, it seems to be more reasonable.

I agree proper floor plans are needed I like the 2nd bathroom but the kitchen is not going to get much thought without a to scale floor plan . 3ds IMO are useless to give context .I will say I hate lighting in a kitchen that lights the ceiling, I also dislike cabinets that sit on the counter and wood hoods.

I prefer a bathroom layout in which when you open the door you cannot immediately see the toilet in case someone barges in when bathroom is being used. Which ever bathroom provides the most privacy in that regard would be my choice here.

It’s hard to tell from these photos. I like the first kitchen better (I think) but can’t vote on the bathroom.

In the first kitchen cabinets on the cooktop wall are very narrow so we decided to eliminate it and increase windows size little more.

@Patricia Colwell Consulting what change would you like to do with the lights.

2nd bathroom. I currently have a bath like the 1st—it’s terribly awkward to get around the door and less private as the toilet is in sight of the door. We are getting ready to remodel the bathroom for those reasons.
