Short reach tub spouts?

Hello! we recently remodeled our bathroom and changed our old ugly garden tub and deck mount tub faucet and swapped it out for a 60” tub. when we did this we had to change the faucet mount to a wall mount. without thinking, i ordered the Delta Trinsic tub filler to match the shower. now its installed, and it is HUGE. Like, its comical. it’s 12” and the tub is 60”. i don’t want to pay all this money for a bathroom remodel, and have this laughably huge phallic tub faucet. we will have to swap it out and rip it out. but, i am really having trouble finding a 2 handle tub faucet that is regular reach length!!! and, we want 2 handle. trying to find something compatible with the delta trinsic valve too, so we dont have to rip up tile. please help!!!

The most useful thing to do is post pictures of the whole space if possible .. showing as much of the whole room in one shot will make more sense of the scale and natural light .., views from the entry etc

Where are you shopping? Your want does not seem at all out of the ordinary. What you have was designed for the old tubs with huge tile surround.

So put on a different spout with the same finish. No need to "rip out" anything. You don't need to change the handles or the valve, just the spout.

IMO not that huge but I garee just get a new spout if it bugs you . I think you are over thinking with all the changes .

It does look like it would be a temptation to grab when getting in or out of the tub?…not sure that would be a good thing🤷🏼‍♀️

I know this is an old post, but just wanted to see what you ended up doing? We installed the delta Cassity tub filler wall mount, and it is ridiculously too long for our tub. Trying to figure out the best solution to put something shorter on without having to rip any tile out hopefully. Thanks in advance.
