We are doing a kitchen and sunroom renovation, having tons of problems w the GC and after a question about the sunroom reno came up, I went and got a copy of our permit from the city. In the paperwork submitted for the permit, the GC included a copy of our contract but changed the cost of the project by $30k. so the estimated cost in the contract filed w the city is $30k less then the contract we signed. Can anyone tell me why a GC would do this? is there an actual reason?
