You can put the stove on the same wall as the fridge with a cabinet and countertop in between them.

I think you need to turn your run into an L shape. To the right of the fridge - small cabinet - range - corner cabinet. Insert a dishwasher to the right of the sink.

I thought it was against code to have a range right up against a wall, which makes me slightly concerned about what other things in your new built may not be done quite the right way.

Kendrah, I think perhaps CR meant that the house is new to her. I don't think you'd find a new build with a 'one-wall' kitchen.

CR could you post an actual picture? Make the kitchen counter an L configuration, put the stove and fridge on the same wall but with only 18-24" between the two. This is a very workable floor plan. If possible, get a counter depth fridge. Your kitchen is too small for an island, a cart might be a good recommendation however you need to walk across this room to get to the laundry room, right plus have a table and chairs? You can find small scale carts/islands on Wayfair.

@cupofkindnessgw it's just 2 of us so we arent doing a dining table. That's why i thinthink ihave the room for an island.

@Kendrah new to me, sorry for the confusion. It was built in 1967. One owner. Actually immaculate condition. Inspection only found 4 issues, all of which the seller is taking care of. Which is wh yim ok with the wonky layout. Solid bones!

@BeverlyFLADeziner @shirlpp than kyou both! I had all sorts of ways mapped out, but not just moving the oven 90 degrees! Simple and effective!

Another option is to place the range diagonally in the corner of your kitchen.
