I like them. Very nice. I guess you could paint them black, but if the sun shines on them you might roast your plants.

IMO those planters are taking up too much real estate. Consider adding plants that hang from your railings instead.

Not loving them there. They crowd your landing and cut off part of the view of the door trim.

Plant something more interesting on both sides of the railing.

You might try painting the planters blue and adding colorful flowers so that you have more color on the porch.

I’m back again… still looking for ideas on these planters.

Honestly, I think your porch would look better without them. They draw the eye away from the door, which should be the focal point.

Why don’t you add a BIG colorful rug? Almost as big as the whole space. There’s a whole lot of brick going on so it might be a good idea to cover some of it up.

I like the gray planters! You could add maintenance free, faux green shrubbery balls in your planters.

Move one planter down where security sign is…..fill with colorful flowers….a few that match the door color. Can buy a paver as a base to set planter on, so it will not sink in ground. Need exterior lights that point down….current lights are installed too high. Maybe other planters can go on back patio.

I think the door color should pop.
